Jon Rahm capped a strong week at JCB Golf & Country Club, closing the LIV Golf UK at -10 total (71-67-65) for a T5 individual finish. His final-round 65 —the team’s best score of the day— proved decisive as Legion XIII clinched the team title at -35, ahead of Torque GC and Stinger GC.

The tournament was won by Joaquín Niemann at -17, with Bubba Watson second (-14) and Rahm’s teammate Caleb Surratt earning his first LIV podium at -13 (67-68-65). Tom McKibbin (T11) and Tyrrell Hatton (T15) completed the all-around effort that secured the collective victory.

Captain’s Sunday

Rahm entered Sunday with room to move and delivered a flawless 65 that, paired with Surratt’s 65, flipped the team leaderboard: -14 for Legion XIII in the final round and an eight-stroke win. “This year’s change, with all four scores counting, I thought would benefit us,” the captain had noted weeks earlier when assessing the squad’s depth.

By the numbers

  • Finish: T5 individual

  • Rounds: 71-67-65 = 203 (-10)

  • Team: Champions with Legion XIII (-35)

  • Venue & dates: JCB Golf & Country Club (Rocester, UK), July 25–27, 2025

Rahm leaves with excellent momentum: solid off the tee, a sharp putter (led the day in putts per hole at 1.17 on Sunday), and closing power to turn a steady week into a top-5 and another title for Legion XIII.
