Jon Rahm completed an outstanding week at the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, where he finished tied for second on six under par. The player from Barrika once again showed his ability to compete on the most demanding stages in world golf and left the second major of the season with another performance of great consistency.

Rahm produced four controlled rounds, always in the fight and always close to the top of the leaderboard. Scores of 69, 70, 67 and 68 gave him a 274 total, tied for second alongside Alex Smalley and three shots behind champion Aaron Rai, who claimed the title on nine under par.

It was a week that built steadily. Jon opened the tournament with a solid 69, a round that immediately placed him in a good position. On Friday, he stayed in touch with a hard-earned 70 on a demanding day, and on Saturday he made a significant move with a 67 that put him firmly in contention for the Wanamaker Trophy. On a course like Aronimink, where every mistake came at a price, Rahm once again showed one of his great strengths: competing all the way to the finish.

He closed the championship on Sunday with a 68, another under-par round on a day of maximum pressure. The victory did not come, but there was another confirmation of his stature in major championships. Rahm was once again exactly where he wants to be: in the title conversation, near the top of the leaderboard and fighting deep into the final stretch for a third major title.

The PGA Championship at Aronimink leaves a very positive reading for Jon. Beyond the result itself, his game showed up again on a stage of the highest difficulty and against one of the strongest fields of the year. The runner-up finish strengthens the feeling that Rahm remains firmly established among the leading contenders whenever a Grand Slam event comes around.

Aaron Rai ultimately took the title with a brilliant final round and a nine-under total, while Rahm and Smalley shared second place on six under. Other major names inside the top ten included Cameron Smith, Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele, who finished tied for seventh.

For Jon, Aronimink was another week that underlined his competitive stature. There was no trophy, but there was presence, consistency, ambition and a performance of the highest level in one of the most important tournaments on the calendar. Another step forward in a season in which he continues to collect prestigious results and very solid signs.

Jon Rahm closed out his LIV Golf Korea campaign with a strong final round and the certainty of remaining at the top of LIV Golf’s Individual Standings. The player from Barrika finished tied for 16th at Asiad Country Club in Busan on four under par after rounds of 70, 68, 71 and 67.

It was not Jon’s brightest week in terms of final result, especially given how consistently he has lived near the top of leaderboards, but it did leave a positive conclusion. Rahm responded on Sunday with his best round of the week, a three-under 67 that allowed him to move up the standings, finish inside the top 20 and leave Korea with a commanding lead in the season-long individual race.

Asiad Country Club proved to be a demanding test throughout the week. The Busan course offered few easy opportunities and punished mistakes, especially when players missed fairways. Rahm opened with an even-par 70 and then moved forward on Friday with a 68 to reach two under for the tournament. A third-round 71 slowed his progress on Saturday, but the Basque player found better rhythm again in the final round.

That Sunday 67 was the most encouraging part of Jon’s week. It was a solid, controlled round, with greater sharpness and more chances created, allowing him to finish the tournament with positive feelings before the next stretch of the calendar. In a week in which he was unable to fully enter the battle for victory, Rahm once again showed his ability to compete all the way to the end and make the most of the final round.

LIV Golf Korea also produced a notable marker in Jon’s season. His Saturday round of 71 ended a remarkable streak of 40 consecutive under-par rounds in LIV Golf. That number alone underlines the extraordinary consistency the Spanish player has shown since joining the league. His answer came just 24 hours later, with a final-round 67.

Rahm also stood out from the tee once again. He led the field for the week in average driving distance at 311.3 yards, another example of his ability to attack demanding courses with both power and control.

The individual title went to Joaquin Niemann, who defeated Talor Gooch on the first playoff hole after both players finished on 12 under par. The Chilean claimed his eighth individual LIV Golf title. Bryson DeChambeau finished third on 11 under, one shot outside the playoff, while Crushers GC won the team title on 23 under, ahead of OKGC and Ripper GC.

In the team competition, Legion XIII played the week with a line-up affected by the absence of Tyrrell Hatton. The Englishman did not play the tournament, with Max Rottluff stepping in alongside Rahm, Tom McKibbin and Caleb Surratt.

Busan did not deliver Jon Rahm’s highest finish of the season, but it did bring a final-round response, another week of points and, above all, confirmation that he remains in the most important position in the standings: number one in LIV Golf.

Jon Rahm closed out his appearance at Maaden LIV Golf Virginia with another display of competitiveness and consistency. The golfer from Barrika finished tied for eighth at Trump National Golf Club Washington D.C., in Sterling, Virginia, on fifteen under par after rounds of 69, 70, 65 and 69.

It was not Jon’s brightest week in terms of directly contending for victory, but he once again left very positive signs. Rahm found a way to finish inside the top ten, remain among the best players in the field and produce one of the most spectacular moments of the tournament: an albatross on the 17th hole during the final round.

Sunday’s finish had a little bit of everything. Rahm started strongly, with a birdie on the 1st and an eagle on the 2nd, a fast start that allowed him to build early momentum. More difficult moments followed, particularly with a bogey on the 5th and a double bogey on the 10th, as well as dropped shots on the 13th and 14th. However, the Basque player never stopped fighting and produced a magnificent response down the stretch.

The standout shot of the week came on the par-5 17th. After sending his tee shot into the right rough, Rahm holed his second shot from more than 190 metres to record an albatross. It was the first albatross of his professional career and one of the most special moments of the LIV Golf season. It was the kind of shot that remains forever in the memory of a tournament.

That two on the par 5 allowed him to close with a final round of 69, three under par, and secure a place inside the top ten. Rahm finished tied for eighth alongside Scott Vincent and Joaquin Niemann, nine shots behind champion Lucas Herbert, who won in commanding fashion on 24 under par. Sergio Garcia was second on 20 under, with Bryson DeChambeau completing the podium on 19 under.

Jon’s best round came on Saturday, with a superb 65 that moved him back into the upper part of the leaderboard. That day he made six birdies and an eagle, giving back only one bogey and one double bogey, in a scorecard that reflected both his ability to create plenty of chances and his competitive persistence even in a week of ups and downs.

In the team standings, Legion XIII, the team captained by Rahm, was also in the fight once again. The line-up of Jon, Tyrrell Hatton, Caleb Surratt and Tom McKibbin finished in third place, just one shot behind 4Aces GC and Fireballs GC, who tied at the top before the team title was decided in a playoff.

Virginia ultimately delivered another solid result for Rahm in a season defined by his remarkable consistency. The victory did not come, but there was another top ten, a steady performance and a historic shot that neatly summed up the Spanish player’s ability to produce extraordinary moments even when the week does not end with a trophy in his hands.

Jon Rahm once again showed on Sunday why he is one of the leading figures in world golf. The player from Barrika claimed victory at LIV Golf Mexico after posting a superb 64, seven under par, in the final round. It was the best possible finish to a very solid week, one in which he stayed in control throughout and closed things out with a champion’s performance when it mattered most.

Jon’s final tally at Chapultepec was 65 on Thursday, 67 on Friday, 67 on Saturday and 64 on Sunday, for a total of 263 shots, 21 under par. It was a sequence of remarkable consistency, without any real dips, built one day at a time until it turned into a commanding victory. He not only won, but did so while projecting an extraordinary sense of solidity, confidence and competitive maturity all week long.

The tournament began with very positive signs. On Thursday, Jon opened with a 65, six under par, placing himself near the top of the leaderboard right away. It was a high-quality round marked by accuracy off the tee, control with his irons and the feeling that he had quickly found the rhythm of the course.

He kept the momentum going on Friday. With a 67, four under par, Rahm continued to move forward with purpose and put himself in an excellent position heading into the weekend. It was another very solid day, without needing to force anything, but clearly showing that his game was exactly where it needed to be to contend for the title.

On Saturday, he responded with the same authority. He carded another 67, keeping the lead and going into the final day with everything in his favor, even though there was still work to do. It was a very complete round in which he managed the tournament well, handled the pressure and kept patiently building a very real chance to win.

Then came Sunday’s statement. Jon closed the championship with a magnificent 64, seven under par, his best round of the week. It was a brilliant performance, aggressive when required and extremely precise in the key moments. Far from simply protecting his lead, he went out to win the tournament decisively, and he did it with golf of the highest level. That final push allowed him to lift the trophy with a six-shot margin and confirm a victory that was as well-earned as it was well-played.

Because if Rahm made one thing clear in Mexico, it was his ability to control a tournament from start to finish. There was no need for miracle comebacks or dramatic twists. There was consistency, control, patience and talent. His win at Chapultepec is another example of his immense level and of his ability to turn a good week into a winning one.

Mexico also delivered a powerful image for Spanish golf, with Jon Rahm leading the way and David Puig and Josele Ballester completing a memorable top three. But the main figure was Jon, who once again lifted a title thanks to a performance that was serious, complete and deeply convincing.

LIV Golf Mexico 2026 now stands as another major week in Rahm’s career. And the best part was the way he did it: playing like the very best, taking charge when it was time to take charge, and closing out the tournament with the authority of a champion.

Jon Rahm put the best possible finish on a challenging week at the Masters. The golfer from Barrika signed for a brilliant 68 on Sunday, four under par, to close out the tournament on a high note and once again confirm his ability to compete and respond even when things do not quite fall into place the way he wants.

Jon’s final tally at Augusta was 78 on Thursday, 70 on Friday, 73 on Saturday and 68 on Sunday, for a total of 289 shots, one over par. It was not the tournament he was looking for, nor a week in which his game flowed with its usual natural rhythm, but it did leave a very encouraging final round and several stretches of high-level golf that inspire optimism going forward.

The start of the tournament was uphill from the outset. On Thursday, Jon did not find the rhythm he wanted and had to battle harder than expected through one of those heavy days when Augusta gives absolutely nothing away. Even so, far from switching off, he held on to the competitive attitude that defines him and stayed committed to the tournament.

Friday brought the response. With a round of 70, two under par, Rahm stepped forward and straightened things out to make the cut. It was a much more solid round, closer to his level, with better feelings and the sense that there was still room to make a move over the weekend.

On Saturday, however, it was time to grind again. Jon posted a 73, one over par, in another hard-fought and demanding round in which he could not quite find the consistency needed to climb the leaderboard decisively. Even so, he kept competing all the way through, never backing down and searching for the click that so often appears when least expected.

And that click came on Sunday. Rahm closed his week with an excellent 68, his best round of the tournament, showing a much sharper and more convincing version of himself. It was a round full of quality, control and ambition, one in which he once again gave off that feeling that he can hurt the course and take charge of the big moments. That final response not only improved his finish, but also sent a very clear message: even in weeks when not everything clicks, Jon always finds a way to take something valuable from it.

Because if he proved one thing again at this Masters, it was exactly that: his enormous ability to compete even without feeling completely comfortable. It was not a complete week, far from it, but it was another demonstration of character, experience and resilience. It was also a reminder that when the pieces fall into place, his level is still right there.

This time Augusta did not give him the reward he was dreaming of, but Jon leaves with a very promising final round and the feeling that he found a much clearer path. The 2026 Masters did not fully go the way he wanted, but it did leave one certainty that never changes: Rahm is always ready to come back.

Jon Rahm produced an outstanding performance at LIV Golf South Africa, where he came within touching distance of the individual title until the very end. The player from Barrika finished runner-up after losing in a playoff to Bryson DeChambeau, closing the tournament with a magnificent 63, eight under par, in the final round. It was a painful ending given how close victory was, but it was also a week full of positive signs and golf of the highest level.

Jon’s final tally at Steyn City was 65 on Thursday, 66 on Friday, 64 on Saturday and 63 on Sunday, for a total of 258 shots, 26 under par. It was an extraordinary sequence, built with patience and solidity, that allowed him to climb all the way into a share of the lead after 72 holes. Only the playoff kept him from turning one of his best weeks of the season into a victory.

The tournament began with very good feelings. On Thursday, Jon opened with a 65, six under par, immediately putting himself in a competitive position. It was a high-quality, very composed round that made it clear his game was in a strong place and that he would have plenty to say as the week went on.

He kept the level high on Friday with a 66, five under par. Rahm continued to build his tournament with purpose, without forcing anything, but with the consistency of someone who knows how to wait for his moment. It was another complete day that kept him close to the lead and set the stage for a weekend charge.

Saturday brought another step forward. He posted a 64, seven under par, and moved fully into contention for the title. It was a round played with authority, the kind that completely changes the outlook of a tournament. Jon put himself in position to attack on Sunday and confirmed he was ready to fight for another win until the very last moment.

Then came his best version on Sunday. Rahm closed the championship with a spectacular 63, eight under par, his best round of the week. It was a brilliant, aggressive and highly precise performance that allowed him to catch DeChambeau at the top of the leaderboard. In the playoff, however, the win slipped away on small details, leaving Jon just short after a tremendous final push.

Because if Jon made one thing clear in South Africa, it was his ability to raise his level in the decisive moments and bring out his best golf when he needed it most. He did not leave with the individual trophy, but his tournament was of an extremely high standard and once again projected that total competitiveness that always makes him a real threat whenever he is near the top.

In the team competition, Legion XIII was also unable to finish the week the way it wanted. Jon’s team ended outside the top three, while Crushers GC won at 76 under par, just one shot ahead of Southern Guards GC (-75), with Torque GC (-72) in third place. It was not the ideal finish in that category, but Rahm’s individual battle once again offered a very clear sign of the level at which he is competing.

LIV Golf South Africa 2026 did not bring Jon Rahm the final reward, but it did leave many reasons to come away stronger. He came up just short, yes, but he did so while competing until the very last shot, with two extraordinary closing rounds and the unmistakable feeling that victory was right there. Sometimes playoffs do not go your way, but the level he showed once again confirmed that Jon is exactly where he wants to be: always in the fight to win.

The Legion XIII captain posted rounds of 67, 68, 71 and 68 in the four-round, 72-hole event, once again placing himself among the tournament’s top contenders.

Rahm got off to an excellent start. His opening-round 67 left him tied for the lead after day one, immediately showing he was ready to contend once again. He followed with a 68 in round two to remain in a strong position near the top of the leaderboard, before a third-round 71 cost him some ground. Rahm responded with another 68 on Sunday to close out the week inside the top 5.

The fifth-place finish further highlights Jon’s remarkable consistency in LIV Golf. With his result in Singapore, he now owns 28 top-10 finishes in 29 LIV Golf starts, while also extending his current streak to eight consecutive top 10s. It is yet another sign of the level he continues to produce week after week.

In the team competition, Legion XIII once again performed at a high level and finished third at 21 under par. In the final round, the team combined for a 7-under total, powered by Rahm’s 68, Tyrrell Hatton’s 69, Tom McKibbin’s 69 and Caleb Surratt’s 71.

Bryson DeChambeau claimed the individual title in a playoff, while 4Aces GC won the team competition. For Rahm and Legion XIII, Singapore delivered another highly encouraging result: an individual top 5 and another team podium that confirms the group as one of the strongest teams in the early part of the 2026 season.

Jon Rahm is back where he belongs: at the top. The player from Barrika claimed victory this Sunday at LIV Golf Hong Kong, securing his third LIV Golf title and the 23rd professional win of his career.

The victory also carries special meaning, as Jon ended a 539-day winless stretch. His last triumph had come in September 2024 in Chicago. Since then, he had come close on numerous occasions, always competing at the highest level, until in Hong Kong he finally opened the door to victory once again with a performance full of authority.

Rahm began the final round tied for the lead and responded the way great champions do. Solid off the tee, precise with his irons and especially sharp on the greens, he built his win with patience, determination and several moments of top-class golf. His Sunday round featured decisive birdies on holes 3, 4, 7 and 8, and when the tournament tightened up on the back nine, he stepped up again with crucial birdies on 13, 14, 15 and 16.

With that late surge, Jon put the tournament out of reach and sealed a convincing victory, once again showing his remarkable ability to deliver when he is in contention.

This win in Hong Kong confirms the Spaniard’s strong start to the season and reinforces the feeling that 2026 could be a very important year. If one thing became clear this week, it is that Jon Rahm has returned to his natural place: among the winners.

Jon Rahm began the 2026 LIV season with a performance full of competitive weight at LIV Golf Riyadh, the first event on the calendar and the debut of the new 72-hole format. The Spaniard came within touching distance of victory, finishing runner-up at 23-under, after a week of relentless pressure and a closing surge that kept the tournament on edge until the final green.

From the opening round at Riyadh Golf Club, Rahm looked solid in every department, staying consistently in the lead pack and managing the course with the kind of composure that separates contenders from the rest. As the days went by, the title race began to take shape—and, true to his style, Rahm never drifted away from the very top.

The key moment came in the fourth and final round, when Rahm signed for a 63 (-9), the lowest score of the tournament, in a finish that showcased the champion’s mindset: four straight birdies to close and a spectacular last hole, where his power off the tee left him a genuine chance to complete the comeback. The late charge was total, but the win slipped away by just one shot to Elvis Smylie, who held firm when it mattered most.

Beyond the result, Riyadh delivered a clear message: Rahm starts the year the way he ended the last one—always in the mix, building momentum and competitive rhythm from week one. On the team side, Legion XIII finished T4 in the team standings, in a tournament won by Ripper GC, led by captain Cameron Smith.

A second-place finish that underlines the headline: the season has only just begun, but Jon Rahm is already playing to win. And when that happens in the first event of the year, the bar is set exactly where he likes it—high.

Club de Campo Villa de Madrid delivered another special week with Jon Rahm as the main attraction. Backed by huge, passionate crowds who followed him almost shot for shot from the opening tee to the final green, the star from Barrika completed the 2025 Open de España with another Top 10 on home soil, reinforcing just how much playing in Spain continues to mean to him.

Rahm finished T9 at 10-under par, a week that gathered momentum and featured two particularly bright highlights: a superb round on Friday and a spectacular closing charge on Sunday—two days when his golf clicked perfectly with both the atmosphere and the demanding nature of the Madrid layout.

Thursday: 72 (+1), a start with work to do

It wasn’t the easiest opening. With testing pins, wind at times, and a course that punishes even small lapses, Rahm signed for a 72 (+1). The score didn’t reflect his full potential, but the message was clear: there was room to tighten a few things up and build the week through control.

Friday: 66 (-5), a statement round

Then came the big day. On Friday, Rahm found his spark and turned in a superb 66 (-5) that moved him firmly into contention and lit up the galleries. It was a round played with pace, conviction and timely scoring—exactly what the week demanded to get closer to the top of the leaderboard.

The fans were fully invested by then: packed walkways on every hole, long applause after quality shots, and that unmistakable “big occasion” feeling you only get when a home favourite starts to make a serious move.

Saturday: 71 (E), the patience day

Saturday was about managing the championship. Rahm posted a 71 (even par) on a day when the course tightened its grip and any small concession was quickly punished. It wasn’t a day to go low, but it was a day to stay solid and keep the door open for Sunday.

Sunday: 65 (-6), a spectacular finish to secure the Top 10

And he delivered. Rahm closed with a 65 (-6)—a brilliant display of control and ambition—to finish strongly and lock in another Top 10 at the Open de España. It was the kind of round that explains why crowds don’t move: at any moment, a stretch like that can appear—birdies coming in bunches, pressure handled beautifully, and the leaderboard shifting hole by hole.

It was the perfect reflection of the week: Jon competing, attacking, and feeding off that unique energy of playing in Spain with thousands of fans walking alongside him.

A Top 10 that strengthens the bond with Spain

Beyond the numbers, Rahm leaves Madrid with a very positive takeaway: a home Top 10, two standout rounds (Friday and Sunday), and, above all, the embrace of a fanbase that turned each day into an event. The Open de España was once again a full connection between player and public—and Jon answered the best way he knows: by competing all the way to the finish.
