Jon Rahm will play in THE PLAYERS Championship this Thursday. It will be the first time in his career that he’ll go up against the ‘fifth major’ and the first time he’ll set foot on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, one of the most legendary courses of the PGA Tour, the most emblematic corner being the par 3 on the 17th hole.

It’s all new to Rahm this year. Logical. It’s his first complete year in the PGA Tour. However, his capacity to adapt is so astonishing that anything could happen this week for Rahm.

The Sawgrass course has changed a lot since last year. The course has undergone a complete transformation, highly in Jon’s favor, without a doubt, a golfer with less experience on the PGA Tour courses. It showed last week. Wells Fargo was held on a different than usual course and he was in the fight for the win up until the very last shot.

Jon is ready for THE PLAYERS and arriving in great shape for the occasion. His performance last week in North Carolina says it all. The Sawgrass course is made for golfers who place the ball well. That’s not an issue for the golfer from Barrika either, one of the best last week from tee to green. Jon will play this Thursday starting at 1:30 pm local time (7:30 pm in Spain). It’s going to be a high profile game, reminiscent of the Ryder Cup. He’ll play with Martin Kaymer and Justin Rose. It’s a week to enjoy. One more on the list.
